Formation
Oud, an oil distilled from the Aquilaria Tree (agarwood), a tree growing the forests of Laos. We distill with water and steam. Our Oud is an all natural product. No chemicals are used in processing. The quality of Oud depends on the raw material. As the wood is harvested from the wild each tree will be a bit different. The fragrance of Oud can change from tree to tree. We try our best to maintain consistent quality but the nature of Oud is that there will always be variation. We use non-chemical filtration to remove the impurities. Oud is not for consumption. It is for external use only.

History
Agarwood oil has been used in aromatherapy for centuries, known for its calming, relaxing, and centering properties. It’s an excellent fixative with strong base notes and has been prized for use in perfumery and incense. But as a result of unethical harvesting, agarwood is greatly threatened in many of its native habitats. It is currently listed with CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) in appendix II which includes species not necessarily threatened with extinction, but in which trade must be controlled in order to avoid utilization incompatible with their survival.
